Continental Clothing Salvage and Fair Share

SALVAGE by Continental Clothing is made from 100% recycled materials (blends of organic cotton fabric and recycled plastic bottles).

The FAIR SHARE T-shirts are made from 100 percent Fairtrade-certified organic cotton, and a Fair Share bonus goes directly to the workers in the textile factory for each textile.

Our Product Range

Salvage is a new sustainable range from British manufacturer Continental Clothing, which mixes upcycled organic cotton fabrics with recycled plastic bottles in this fair-trade brand, and thus uses 100% recycled materials. The blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester is very stable and well cut, and complies with the Global Recycle Standard and the Organic Blended Content Standard. The resulting textile structure has a timelessly attractive mottled “heathered” look that contrasts pleasantly with the mishmash of other manufacturers.

Global Recycle Standard (GRS)

The Salvage collection is a proven sustainable collection. All Salvage labeled products are certified by Control Union under the Global Recycle Standard (GRS).

Fair Wear Foundation (FWF)

Continental Clothing Company has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation for over 10 years. The implementation of high social standards is checked independently by the Fair Wear Foundation in the factories.

Fair Share

With the purchase of every FAIR SHARE t-shirt you directly support the textile workers in the factory in India. The purchase price includes a FAIR SHARE surcharge of €0.14 per t-shirt and €0.70 per hoody – a surcharge that should enable a full living wage in the long term. A small change makes a big difference!
