The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is a European initiative that works to improve working conditions in the clothing industry. As an independent body, the FWF checks whether its member companies and their producers comply with the code of conduct. FWF members undertake to comply with the following internationally accepted working standards:

• Living wages
• No excessive working hours
• Safe and healthy work environment
• Legally binding employment relationship
